About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our Pre-Assessment team at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assessing patients' health and well-being, ensuring they receive the highest standards of care.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-assessments of patients, liaising with other clinical professionals as necessary.
- Provide clinical expertise to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care to patients attending the department.
- Assess patients' health and wellbeing across a complex range of specialities, using your clinical skills and knowledge to inform your practice.
- Rotate through various surgical wards and the admissions lounge to maintain your clinical skills and competencies.
- Act as an advocate for patient care, identifying opportunities to improve the value and effectiveness of care and services delivered.
Requirements
- NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
- Experience in surgery, with a strong understanding of pre-operative assessment.
- Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
