The Role
We're seeking a Mobile Bus Repair Technician to attend and repair vehicle breakdowns on the road, carry out change overs & minor repairs on the roadside. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Attending and repairing breakdowns
- Carrying out change overs & minor repairs on the roadside
- Booking out parts when required
- Working within health and safety regulations
- Delivering a high standard of repair/temp repair to get bus back to depot.
- Ensuring an effective working relationship with staff
- Completing accurate breakdown records, keeping paperwork up to date and filled in correctly
- Carrying out any other duties that may be deemed suitable by the engineering manager
About You
As a Mobile Bus Repair Technician, you'll need:
- To hold a valid UK driver's licence
- To be a UK resident
- Not to have to hold a PCV licence, but that would be advantageous; we will help you obtain it if not
- To have on the job experience
