Contracts Manager Position

Reed Property & Construction is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to manage multiple construction projects in Bristol. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery, and managing budgets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in refurbishment work, preferably in student accommodation or residential projects.

Daily Responsibilities:
  1. Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously.
  2. Ensure all projects meet deadlines, scope, and budget targets.
  3. Coordinate with subcontractors and other construction professionals.
  4. Comply with current building regulations and health and safety standards.
  5. Conduct regular site meetings and set performance benchmarks.
  6. Handle the preconstruction phase, including project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  7. Provide regular updates to stakeholders and compile reports on project status.
Essential Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Project Manager or Contracts Manager in the construction industry.
  2. Strong background in refurbishment work, preferably in student accommodation or residential projects.
  3. Excellent project management skills, including multitasking.
  4. Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
  5. Knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant quality standards.
  6. Proficiency in project management software.
