Job Title: Academic Office Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Academic Office Administrator to join our team at Rafferty Resourcing. As a key member of our busy projects and procurement team, you will provide administrative support to our Project Manager, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and competitive pricing
  • Connect with suppliers to gather information about new products and technologies
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Project Manager, including booking flights and arranging evening entertainment for clients
  • Raise purchase orders and monitor deliveries to ensure they meet needs, budget, and project timescales
  • Handle import/export operations, coordinating the movement of goods seamlessly
  • Communicate delivery schedules and proactively address any potential delays

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in Procurement is a plus, but not required - we offer full training
  • Strong office administration skills and excellent interpersonal abilities
  • Confidence in using computers and proficiency in Google and MS Office tools
