2nd Line Support Partner

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional technical support and resolving complex IT issues? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? We're seeking a skilled 2nd Line Support Partner to join our team at Home Group, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring our business runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced technical support to our customers, resolving escalated IT issues and providing additional insights and guidance.
  • Manage various tasks, including configuring phones and computers, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Troubleshoot and manage a wide range of Microsoft applications, including Intune, Azure, Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange.
  • Ensure network connectivity across offices and remotely troubleshoot any network issues that colleagues may face.
  • Participate in various IS projects alongside other IS colleagues, adding variety to your daily routine and gaining valuable experience.
  • Visit Home Group offices (with occasional national travel) for on-site troubleshooting when remote solutions are not feasible.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, able to interact effectively with colleagues in both technical and non-technical terms.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft applications, with an understanding of networking and monitoring tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, experienced in providing IS solutions within an ITIL framework, and familiarity with a Service Desk environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced technical support role, handling various tasks and collaborating with 3rd party providers and suppliers.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, always looking to enhance knowledge, develop new skills, and propose solutions to improve processes and service delivery.
  • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies, a hands-on approach to tackling tech challenges, and adaptability to address issues head-on.
