Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Employment Law Associate to join our team in Cardiff. The successful candidate will be responsible for a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious work, providing advice on a range of employment law matters and conducting Employment Tribunal litigation.

The ideal candidate will have strong advocacy skills, excellent client relationship-building abilities, and the desire to contribute proactively to our business plan.

About the Role:

  • Advise on unfair dismissal claims, discrimination claims, TUPE transfers, business restructuring, settlement agreements, company policies and procedures, dismissals, and contractual issues.
  • Engage in Employment Tribunal litigation, draft HR policies and procedures, contribute to marketing efforts through speaking engagements and article writing, and actively participate in networking and business development activities.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years PQE dealing with contentious and non-contentious Employment experience and possess strong advocacy skills.

Fluency in the Welsh language is desired, and excellent organisational and time management abilities are essential.

Building and maintaining client relationships is a fundamental part of the role, so prior experience in developing excellent client relationships is highly valued.
