About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cyber Security Consultant to lead our Audit, Advisory & Strategy teams within the Bytes Cyber Consulting division.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality consulting services to our customers, including ISF Security Healthchecks, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, Data Privacy, vCISO, and general security consulting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver 10 days of Audit, Advisory or strategy consulting per month, focusing on ISF Security Healthcheck, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, Data Privacy, vCISO, and general security consulting.
  • Assist the Head of Consulting Services to grow the revenues and GP of the Audit, Advisory & Strategy departments within Cyber Consulting.
  • Manage customer engagements and be responsible for the quality/timeliness of work delivered.
  • Deliver high-quality engagements to customers and deliver real value to them.
  • Be responsible for the Audit, Advisory & Strategy financial targets and understand how these impact the overall department budgets.
Requirements
  • 5 years information security consulting experience (desirable).
  • Digital leadership skills – capable of empowering and leading the Audit, Advisory & Strategy teams to meet business and customer goals.
  • Solid people management skills – providing direction, monitoring performance, motivating the team, and building a positive working environment for the Audit, Advisory & Strategy teams.
  • Excellent communication skills – providing verbal and written communication that are outstanding to both direct reports, & Head of Consulting Services as well as other stakeholders including customers.
  • Good time management, can handle conflicting priorities, and deliver excellent levels of quality.
