Job Title: Recruitment Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Team Leader to join our team at James Andrews Recruitment Solutions Ltd. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for managing a team of Onboarding Administrators and ensuring the smooth onboarding of new starters within the organisation.

Our client is a leading Health & Social Care provider with over 350 sites across the country. This is a full-time and permanent position, with a salary banding of £32,000 - £34,000 and a hybrid working arrangement, requiring 1-2 days in our Head Office in Halesowen and the rest working from home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 10 Onboarding Administrators and address escalated queries from the team
  • Monitor staff performance and KPIs to ensure SLAs are met
  • Ensure correct processes are followed for onboarding staff, including right to work, DBS, referencing, and employment gap checks
  • Chair regular meetings with team members to discuss progress and provide support as needed
  • Conduct appraisals and one-to-ones, addressing any staffing issues
  • Report back to hiring managers and the wider recruitment team on new starter onboarding progress
Requirements:
  • Confident communicator with strong people management skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of right to work and DBS checks
