About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estates Surveyor to join our professional team at the British Heart Foundation. As an Estates Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing and settling a large caseload of retail lease renewals and rent reviews, advising the Charity on the best terms and strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and settle a large caseload of retail lease renewals and rent reviews
  • Advise the Charity on the best terms and strategy for lease renewals and rent reviews
  • Provide expert professional advice to ensure the Charity achieves the best results in the current market
  • Work in conjunction with the Assistant Property Management Surveyor to manage the growing non-retail, storage warehouse and regional office portfolio
  • Prepare reports and monitor caseload to inform the business
Requirements
  • Qualified Chartered Surveyor (MRICS/FRICS) with excellent IT skills
  • Extensive experience in Land/Estate Management and a thorough understanding of Property Law and Landlord Tenant Legislation
  • Excellent negotiating skills and a successful track record in the retail industry
  • Strong decision-making skills, attention to detail, and the ability to hit deadlines
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and confident with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Arrangements

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office. You will need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
