Nursery Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team at an outstanding nursery in Sydenham. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children.
Main Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging activities that cater to the individual needs and stages of development of our children.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date child records, including learning plans, reports, and observations.
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring effective communication and partnership.
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment that meets the needs of all children, regardless of their background or abilities.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and hygienic environment, including nappy changing and toilet training.
- Assist with mealtime and snack preparation.
- A Level 3 qualification recognized by the DfE for counting in the early years foundation stage framework staff:child ratios.
- A clear understanding of child development and learning principles.
- A strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Reliability, enthusiasm, and flexibility.
- A can-do attitude and strong communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS background check and two professional references required.
