Domestic Assistant Role at Havencourt Care Home

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team at Havencourt Care Home. As a Domestic Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our care home environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high-quality domestic cleaning service to meet the standards set by our company policy and best practices.
  • Undertake all necessary hygienic work practices to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our residents.
  • Clean and protect various floor surfaces, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Assist with the daily well-being of our residents and help them settle into their new environment.
  • Ensure effective laundry services, working in line with guidance and expectations.
  • Ensure the safe return of residents' personal possessions and laundry, labeled as directed.
  • Work with other staff to ensure the laundry service is efficient and effective.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect residents' privacy.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £11.44.
  • A 30-hour per week permanent position.
  • The opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic team environment.
