Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Early Years and Family Practitioner to join our team at 4Recruitment Services. As an Early Years and Family Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering a range of preventative evidence-based interventions to families, including Home Learning Environment interventions and parenting support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver one-to-one and group interventions to families, including Home Learning Environment interventions and parenting support.
  • Use assessments and interventions to plan and evaluate care following clinical pathways.
  • Support families in understanding the support available to them and share information to support new and expectant parents/carers during their transition to parenthood.
  • Observe, assess, and enhance the development and behaviour of children, focusing on the principles of school readiness.
  • Promote positive healthy lifestyles and emotional health and wellbeing, providing relevant access to healthcare services.
  • Work in partnership with other key stakeholders to safeguard children and young people.
  • Make referrals to Family Hub and Family Hub Network as appropriate.

Requirements:
  • Relevant level 3 qualification in Early Years, Education, or Health and Social Care.
  • Must have school/early years/nursery experience.
  • Ability to support and observe a child's development stage.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and how this relates to children's development and learning.
  • Enhanced Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service.
