About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Specialist SEN Teacher to join our team at an alternative provision school in Worcestershire. The successful candidate will have a strong background in working with children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as those who have experienced trauma.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and tailored lessons to small groups, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized education plans (IEPs).
* Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies as needed.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience working with children with SEMH needs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
