About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Service Technician to join our team at Nationwide Platforms. As a Mobile Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of our powered access equipment to ensure they are in excellent working condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on powered access equipment, including fault-finding and troubleshooting.
  • Carry out refurbishment of equipment as necessary.
  • Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed in accordance with company procedures.
  • Liaise with colleagues to estimate and advise on equipment repair costs.
  • Ensure the van is fully equipped with spare parts at all times.
  • Maintain accurate service records and update systems accordingly.
  • Adhere to company guidelines on Health & Safety at Work.
  • Represent the company and values of Nationwide Platforms in a professional and business-like manner.
Requirements
  • Relevant general maintenance qualification and experience in the plant rental sector.
  • Experience in plant, diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics/fault finding.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a strong understanding of excellent customer service.
