Job Title: Software Product Support Lead

We are seeking a skilled and experienced software engineer to lead our small support team in maintaining our in-service missile-system middleware solutions.

About the Role:
  • Lead a team of three software engineers in maintaining and supporting our missile-system middleware solutions.
  • Collaborate with the software project leader to manage activities and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Debug and engineer investigation of complex software issues, working closely with customers to discuss solutions.
  • Configure and maintain Linux operating systems, including kernel configuration and testing.
  • Develop software skills through on-the-job training or formal education.
Requirements:
  • Experience with C, C++, Ada, and/or JavaScript, shell scripting languages, and software engineering.
  • Team leading experience, although primarily a technical role.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining Linux OSs, including kernel configuration and testing.
  • Passion for software engineering, with the ability to innovate and think critically to solve complex software problems.
