About the Role:

Melber Flinn, a specialist healthcare recruitment business, is currently supporting a large private provider of mental health services in the West Midlands to find a candidate for a Hospital Director position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a high-performing hospital offering mental health and rehabilitation services with approximately 25 inpatient beds. The hospital has a stable recent history of leadership and is held in high regard by the CQC, requiring the incoming Hospital Director to continue driving quality standards to maintain the unit's reputation and strong referrals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the hospital's operations, ensuring high-quality services and maintaining strong referrals.
  2. Continuously improve quality standards to maintain the hospital's reputation and CQC ratings.
  3. Balance operational management and clinical leadership skills to drive growth and profitability.

The ideal candidate will be a registered mental health nurse (RMN) or Occupational Therapist with a deep understanding of mental health services. They will be well-rewarded and eligible for a bonus based on achieving personal, financial, and quality-based objectives.
