We are seeking a highly motivated Kitchen Support Professional to join our team at Cygnet Newham House, a 20-bed neuropsychiatric care and treatment facility in the UK.

Job Summary

This part-time role, working 30 hours a week, involves performing cooking tasks and other kitchen duties to deliver exceptional care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals according to nutritional guidelines and resident preferences.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, service areas, and dining room.
  • Handle and store kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Use chemicals in accordance with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations.

A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum is on offer, depending on experience.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience in catering, preferably within a care setting.
  • A food hygiene certificate and good personal hygiene standards.
  • An enthusiastic and proactive approach to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and care.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
