Job Advert

Renfrewshire Council is seeking a dedicated and skilled Early Learning Support Worker to join their team.

As a key member of the team, you will assist nursery officers in delivering high-quality early learning and childcare services, including supporting lunchtimes, working with children and adults, and maintaining organized playrooms.

It is essential to demonstrate a commitment to obtaining the required qualification in early learning and childcare, specifically NC in Childhood Practice at SCQF level 6 or SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) at SCQF level 6, as stipulated by the SSSC.

Key skills and qualities include experience working with children and young people, effective communication skills, a caring nature, and an awareness of the needs of young children.

If not already registered with the SSSC, you will be required to do so within the designated timeline as a Support Worker for Day Care of Children Service.

Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Disclosure Scotland check, with the level of check determined by the duties of the post.
