About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Catastrophic Loss Solicitor to join a leading insurance law firm with a strong presence nationwide. The firm is a market leader in the casualty practice, handling complex and high-value cases on behalf of their insurer clients.
Your New Role
As a Catastrophic Loss Solicitor, you will handle a challenging caseload of multi-track EL/PL files valued up to £1,000,000. You will be responsible for drafting pleadings and witness statements, instructing counsel and experts, and attending conferences and trials. There is also the opportunity to develop your supervisory skills by mentoring junior team members on fast-track claims.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive with 1-6 years PQE
- Previous experience handling your own caseload of defendant multi-track personal injury cases
- Experience working within a large loss team
- Excellent soft skills and strong academics
