We are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in the role of Mechanical Design Engineer. As a key member of our Mechanical Design team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Formula 1 cars. Your focus will be on suspension design, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and safety. You will collaborate closely with aerodynamicists, structural analysts, vehicle performance experts, and production engineers to create cutting-edge solutions.

Suspension System Design

Design and development of suspension components, including wishbone members, internal springs and dampers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate suspension systems seamlessly into the overall vehicle design.

Simulation and Analysis

Utilise advanced simulation tools to evaluate suspension performance under various load conditions. This will enable you to identify areas for improvement and optimise the design for maximum performance.

Collaboration and Communication

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of suspension systems into the overall vehicle design. You will also be responsible for communicating design changes and updates to the team.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. You should have reasonable experience in mechanical design, with a focus on Formula 1 mechanical design. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) is essential.
