Talentedge is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely filing of records to keep the company books up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Data Entry: Enter financial data into books, spreadsheets, and accountancy software with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain organized and easily accessible financial records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Invoice and Payment Management: Locate or track invoices, receipts, purchase orders, and other financial records, and process payments and refunds in a timely manner.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts at regular intervals to ensure accuracy and detect any discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Provide financial data and reporting to management for audit purposes, and assist with general administration in the office.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience: Previous experience as a bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant is essential.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software, including Sage programs.
- Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy and attention to detail, with a keen eye for numbers and financial data.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and maintain organized records.
