We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team in Thurso, Caithness. As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting a lady to live independently in her own home, working closely with her to develop a tailored care and support plan that meets her unique needs.
The lady we support enjoys a variety of activities, including going for walks, meeting friends, and engaging in Scottish music and cinema. She values kindness, fun, and respect in her relationships, and we're looking for someone who shares these qualities.
As a Support Worker, you'll provide support in all aspects of daily living, including personal care, household tasks, and social activities. Previous experience of autism would be beneficial, as the staff team is trained in Autism awareness.
Shift patterns will be between 9am-9am, including a sleepover, and you'll be required to work one shift per week, with flexibility to cover some weekends. There may also be opportunities for overtime cover.
