About the Role

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Sr Electrical Engineer to join our EU Sustainability Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in scaling our programs and driving innovation in electrical engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and manage vendors to ensure installation capacity, quality of commissioning, and smooth interaction with other teams.
  2. Perform design validation to ensure electrical standards are respected during installation of electrical equipment.
  3. Act as a subject matter expert and support Field Engineering to prepare the supply chain for installation on-site.
About the Team

Our EU Sustainability Engineering team is responsible for defining and improving electrical standards for EV charging networks and smart grid solutions. We ensure reliability of design and obsess over costs to minimize waste and maximize sustainability.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Relevant experience in building, developing, and leading programs in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
  3. Excellent communication and data analysis skills.
  4. Proficiency in English and German is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Experience in electrical engineering programs, procurement of hardware, and contracting of maintenance services.
  3. Relevant experience in resource planning in large-scale programs.
  4. Understanding of the industry players in the electrical and energy sector in Europe and worldwide.
