About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Organisation Development Consultant to join our team on a full-time and fixed-term contract basis (12 months). This contract is offered on a hybrid basis, which is a blend of working from the office and remote working.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive organisational transformation and development initiatives, focusing on enhancing our effectiveness.
  • Lead the implementation and change management related to the Business World Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, ensuring smooth adoption and integration across the council.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and manage change impacts and resistance to include management of the Learning and Development Programmes to embed the change within each of the Council's Directorates.
  • Create and deliver communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout all project work.
Requirements
  • A comprehensive understanding of organisation development and change management theories as well as practical application within a professional setting, including knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Proven experience of project management and programme delivery is essential for this role.
  • Working knowledge of Unit 4 - Business World system or ERP system (Enterprise Resource Planning) would be highly desirable but not essential.
  • Certification in CIPD (Level 5) or Organisational Development or Change Management, or a related field is required.
