Climax Studios is a renowned game development studio with a rich history of creating immersive digital experiences. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge open-world games.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing AI systems, working closely with our team to ensure seamless integration with our game engine. Your expertise in C# and C++ will be invaluable in developing and improving our AI codebase.

We are looking for a talented individual who is passionate about game development and has a strong background in AI. If you are a creative problem-solver with excellent math skills and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement AI systems for our open-world games
  • Collaborate with the team to integrate AI with our game engine
  • Develop and improve our AI codebase using C# and C++
  • Contribute to testing procedures and ensure high production values

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Games Development, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years commercial games programming experience

Requirements:

  • High level of proficiency in C# and C++
  • Experience with UE 4/5
  • Excellent math skills
  • Proven problem-solving ability
  • Broad familiarity with AI in game development
  • Experience with modern character AI systems
  • Experience with pathfinding, steering, and motion planning
  • State machines and behavior trees
  • Implementing cooperation and group behaviors
  • Experience working within a team
  • Real passion for games programming
