About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our team at our Scarborough site. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering engineering projects within agreed budgets, timeframes, and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements are delivered to the highest standard in all aspects of the role
  • Plan and develop projects from idea to implementable solution and prepare business justification for it
  • Develop and present scopes and deliverables, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Detailed budget creation for projects and monitoring expenditure throughout project lifecycle
  • Monitor projects throughout implementation phase and solve issues that arise daily through structured performance management schemes
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation for all projects in implementation phase and according to the site's budgeted windows of opportunity
  • Monitor Project performance throughout all the stages in terms of project scope, budget, and timelines using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
  • Create and maintain comprehensive, detailed project documentation
  • Perform appropriate risk management to minimize project risks
  • Ensure stakeholders and internal clients are informed and satisfied throughout the project phases
  • Establish and maintain relationships with all major suppliers/vendors
  • Ensure all equipment and installation auxiliaries are designed within the guidelines of the latest engineering specifications, Health, Safety, and Food Safety requirements
About You

We are looking for a qualified Engineer with strong communication skills, experienced in managing engineering initiatives within a production environment, and able to work with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements within building management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office/Project
  • Project management skills
  • Basic knowledge of Autocad viewer Software
