Role Summary:

As a key member of the DX team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring the smooth delivery of goods and services to our customers. This will involve managing a team of warehouse operatives, coordinating the receipt, storage, and dispatch of items, and maintaining accurate records of stock levels and movements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to meet customer demands and achieve team objectives.
  • Ensure all warehouse activities are carried out in accordance with DX's Operations Manual and service centre working instructions.
  • Manage the allocation of resources to ensure efficient and cost-effective operation of the warehouse.
  • Oversee the safe and correct loading and unloading of vehicles, and ensure that warehouse operatives complete loading and unloading documentation on time and in full.
  • Ensure effective stock management, including space allocation, stock transfer, and dealing with non-conforming product.
  • Maintain the highest standards of quality and service in the warehouse, ensuring that customer expectations are met and exceeded.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience in the logistics or distribution industry.
