About Us:

Chester Central Primary Care Network is a collaborative organization comprising six general practices in Chester City Centre. Our network serves over 40,000 patients and aims to deliver high-quality patient care through collaboration and innovative services.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our leadership team. The successful candidate will work closely with the PCN Manager, Digital Transformation Lead, and Co-Clinical Directors to provide administrative support and contribute to the network's strategic objectives.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of excellent relationships across the network to facilitate collaboration for better patient outcomes.
  • Assist in understanding all relevant PCN contracts, both local and national.
  • Support the implementation of agreed service changes and pathways, working closely with member practices, the wider PCN, and the commissioner.
  • Develop relationships and work closely with other local teams, health and social care providers, local commissioners, and Local Medical Committees (LMCs).

About This Role:

The Network Administrator role is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the delivery of the GP DES Contract. You will have a vital role in supporting the PCN agenda and delivery of care.

In this position, you will be answerable to the PCN Manager and responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support to this role and the Clinical Directors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support with planning and organizing Monthly Board and Operational Meetings, plus any other ad hoc PCN Meetings, taking minutes.
  • Manage the PCN Network Drive, MS Teams (regular upload of minutes and any other important documents, including the Network Agreement).
  • PCN Data submissions and PCN IT requirements.
  • Maintain the Enhanced Access appointment book and staff.
  • Collate staff hours completed in Enhanced Access for monthly payroll.

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • Excellent IT and communication skills, flexibility, a can-do attitude.
  • The ability to be adaptable and not constrained by processes and organizational boundaries.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsive and patient-focused, and a champion for change.
  • NHS experience.

Desirable:

  • A background of working in general practice.
  • An understanding of a primary care network.

Estimated Salary Range: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
