Flexible Part Time Administrator

We are seeking a flexible part-time administrator to join our team of volunteers providing support to people in the Uttlesford district.
This role involves visiting clients in their homes to help them complete complex disability benefit application forms. Our team is specially trained and coordinated by a disability benefits specialist.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and listening skills, be non-judgmental and respectful of different views and cultures, and have access to a car for travel around the district.
About the Role
- Complete an introduction to Citizens Advice and training for your role as a home visitor.
- Help clients complete disability benefit forms in their own homes.
- Support clients in maximising their benefit income.
- Check carers' entitlement to benefits.
- Provide advice on reducing energy costs.
