Rail Infrastructure Design Engineer

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Rail Infrastructure Design Engineer to join our team at Pell Frischmann Group Ltd. in Bishop's Stortford. As a key member of our Rail team, you will play a crucial role in delivering projects in the Rail and Civil Structures sectors.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Conduct inspections, assessments, and design structural health monitoring for rail infrastructure projects
* Review and approve designs and calculations for rail infrastructure projects
* Provide technical guidance to engineers and clients on rail infrastructure projects
* Report progress to clients on rail infrastructure projects
* Support and encourage staff in their professional development
* Contribute to business development activities for rail infrastructure projects

**Requirements**

* Honours Degree in Civil Engineering 2(i) or above
* Working towards Membership of the relevant professional body
* 5+ years' experience in a design office working on a variety of projects
* Good Written English
* Good communication skills
* Good software skills for communication, reporting, calculations, and structural analysis
* Engaging in preparation of tenders, business promotion, and general commercial
* Project management

**Preferred Qualifications**

* Master's degree in civil engineering
* Membership of a relevant professional body
