At CV Library, we are seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership to the logistics teams and delivering World Class Service in hard Facilities Management across all sites.

To achieve this, you will need to effectively manage all resources and establish effective relationships between the customer and City field teams.

  • You will recruit, coach, and motivate team members to optimise people performance.
  • You will ensure a divisional training and succession plan is available to meet the people development needs.
  • You will ensure company policies and practices are followed and delivered consistently.
  • You will lead Divisional meetings to drive operational performance and people management.
  • You will analyse performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and draw up action plans.
  • You will co-ordinate capital plans and support the customer in developing their annual asset replacement plan.
  • You will lead the delivery of excellent customer service and relationships.
  • You will ensure that all activity complies with Health & Safety Policies.
Financial Responsibility:

This role has an estimated salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, and is responsible for managing expenditure within agreed budgets by site, area, and across the division.

You will also be responsible for identifying and delivering business development opportunities within budget to fund additional services to the customer.

In addition, you will guide Area Maintenance Managers in developing capital plans and projects jointly with the customer.

People Responsibility:

The Operations Manager Lead is responsible for the direct line management of the Area Maintenance teams, with a broader scope of responsibility for direct management as required by the customer.

Key responsibilities include recruiting and inducting colleagues, conducting quarterly people reviews, carrying out legal training requirements, ensuring agreed ways of working are followed, and managing team conduct and capability.

You will have experience of managing large and remote teams, strong PC literacy, and excellent planning, organising, prioritisation, and project management skills.

You will be accountable for your own performance and that of the team, flexible and strategic in approach, with a high degree of mobility to travel extensively throughout the area.

A full driving licence is essential for this role.
