About the Role

We are proud to be working alongside our client, a well-established national organisation, in their search for an IT Support Technician to be based in their Shrewsbury area office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide internal IT support when required.
  • Manage helpdesk and incident management.
  • Configure and troubleshoot PC and server systems.
  • Configure and troubleshoot firewalls.
  • Perform daily system checks, including backup monitoring and reporting.
  • Proactively and reactively deliver technical support.
  • Maintain and update internal client documentation and logging time and activities in a consistent and timely manner.
  • Ensure client satisfaction is achieved and maintained at all times.
  • Communicate diligently with all internal management, keeping them informed of incident progress, changes or agreed outages.
  • Evaluate and escalate issues that cannot be completed or risk being completed within agreed service levels.
  • Stay up-to-date with current and future technologies emerging in the industry.
Requirements
  • Experience working as an IT/Support Technician.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office troubleshooting and administration.
  • Fundamentals of stand alone Office 365 and Azure Sync environments.
  • Remote Desktop Servers.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with problems and technical issues in a pressurised and time-sensitive environment.

In return, our client is offering a competitive salary of £25,000 - £27,000 plus great benefits.
