Job Role: HGV Technician

Annual Earnings: £50,000 - £60,000

Contract Type: Full Time / Permanent

HGV Technicians are required to work in a team of highly skilled and experienced professionals on a mixed fleet of commercial vehicles. The successful applicants will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair, including:

  • Vehicle inspections
  • General servicing and pre-planned maintenance
  • Reactive maintenance as required
  • MOT preparation / Presentation
  • Correction of running defects

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair
  • Work in a team environment to achieve high-quality results
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of commercial vehicle systems and components
  • Contribute to the development of the team and the company through sharing knowledge and best practices

Requirements:

  • Be a qualified HGV Mechanic with City & Guilds / NVQ qualifications
  • Have a strong understanding of commercial vehicle systems and components
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
