About the Role

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Transformation Architect to join our team in London. As a key member of our Public Sector business, you will play a critical role in driving digital transformation journeys for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain enterprise-level business and technical reference architectures, including data platforms, integrations, and models.
  • Engage with C-level executives and senior stakeholders to translate strategy into digital architecture journeys, specializing in Enterprise Data, Automation, Industrialisation, and Cloud (Re)Architecture.
  • Research current and emerging technologies and propose changes to enhance our solutions.
  • Influence and architect data integration patterns to enable solution architects and developers to create REST APIs, Web Services, Message Bus, Data Pipelines, and other integration components.
  • Drive solutioning for complex multiple service lines and domains as part of CRs, SoW requests, Impact Assessments, RFI, and RFP processes.
Requirements
  • Proven work experience as a Solution Architect, particularly in Cloud transformation programs, especially in the Public Sector domain.
  • Experience with Talend & Denodo.
  • Experience working on Data Platform, Data Migration Strategy, Analytics and AI roadmaps.
  • Hands-on experience on AWS Cloud, Azure Cloud (GCP or Private Cloud an advantage too), Data Virtualisation, BI-Analytics-ML-AI / Modern Data Warehouse, Various ETL-ELT tooling including Pentaho, Cloudera, Spark, Hive, Big Data, Data Governance and Metadata tooling via tooling such as Informatica, Web Services / API / Message Services such as Rabbit MQ, Mulesoft, Tibco, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience of building relationships with key stakeholders and bringing everyone together on your journey, sharing insights and best practices, and removing barriers.
