Electrical Generator Service Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Generator Service Engineer to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical generator installation, maintenance, and repair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical installation of all control and power cabling between the generator, changeover panels, switchboards, ancillary equipment such as fuel controls, louver controls, BMS controls etc
  • Testing of all the installation to the NICEIC requirements and recording all test results
  • On site testing of the installation to clients' specifications and any associated fault finding and modification work, including any reprogramming requirements
  • Electrical generator servicing and maintenance at customer premises
  • Generator Load Testing and Commissioning
  • Show excellent fault-finding skills

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience within a similar role either Generators or UPS
  • NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition and 2391 highly advantageous
  • Clean Driving Licence and CRB check
  • Competence with DSE, COMAP & Woodward control panels would be an advantage
