SEN Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to join our team at Remedy Education. As a SEN Tutor, you will work closely with students to provide individualized instruction and support, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their academic goals.

• Deliver personalized tutoring sessions to students with SEN/SEMH needs, adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning styles and requirements.
• Develop and implement tailored learning plans in collaboration with other educational professionals and parents.
• Provide emotional and social support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining detailed records and adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student development.

• PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) / QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
• Demonstrable experience in working with SEN/SEMH students.
• Strong understanding of various SEN/SEMH conditions and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students with special educational needs.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of students.
