Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Process Director to join our team at NYX Inc.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process engineering and be able to lead technical teams in developing optimal molding processes.

  • Implement AQP and PPAP requirements per AIAG Standards.
  • Solve problems on QPR format.
  • Manage all processes and mold-related items.
  • Track mold location, cost, PM, and quotes.
  • Train technicians in mold setup, molding processing.
  • Establish mold documentation and maintain documentation.
  • Sample new materials and molds.
  • Optimize molding processes.
  • Define training requirements for maintenance technicians and train internally as needed.
  • Repair molds and reduce root causes of failure modes.
  • FOLLOW SAFETY RULES AND REPORT SAFETY PROBLEMS AND INJURIES.
  • Maintain plant safety and 5S housekeeping standards.
  • Manage and direct personnel as required.
  • Organize and keep all setup information updated.

About the Role: This is a senior leadership position that requires a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of quality systems, including TS16949, and will be able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Process Development: Develop and implement optimal molding processes for products.
  • Team Leadership: Lead technical teams in achieving process improvements and consistency.
  • Mold Management: Manage all mold-related items, including tracking location, cost, PM, and quotes.
  • Training and Development: Train technicians in mold setup, molding processing, and other relevant skills.
  • Safety and Quality: Maintain plant safety and 5S housekeeping standards, and ensure compliance with quality systems, including TS16949.
