Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to our customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
  • Load and unload goods from the vehicle.
  • Ensure that all deliveries and collections are made on time and in accordance with our client's requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with the transport team and customers to manage expectations and resolve any issues.
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure that the vehicle is in excellent condition.
  • Attend regular training sessions to maintain and improve your skills.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid UK Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Have a good geographical knowledge of the area.
  • Be able to work to deadlines and manage your time effectively.
  • Be a confident, polite, and team player.
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
