About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join our team at a wonderful independent school in Camden.

This is a full-time position that requires the ideal candidate to be passionate about inspiring students' love for science and fostering curiosity about the world around them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and interactive Science lessons that foster a love for the subject and promote critical thinking
  • Utilize innovative teaching strategies to cater to students' unique learning styles and abilities
  • Plan and implement a well-structured Science curriculum that aligns with the school's educational goals
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued and supported
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and foster a collaborative teaching and learning environment
  • Establish effective communication with parents and guardians to share students' progress and address any concerns
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Specialism in Science or a related field
  • Prior experience teaching Science in an independent school setting is preferred
  • Passionate about Science education and inspiring students to explore the subject
  • Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum and current educational practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Dedicated and committed to professional growth and development
