As a key member of the Trade Operations team, you will be responsible for managing the firm's live trading environment, specifically one of the top electronic trading platforms worldwide.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Act as the first line of support covering European hours, ensuring seamless trading operations.
  • Manage order flow from front office trading desks, maintaining efficient and accurate order processing.
  • Respond to market alerts and outages, taking prompt action to minimize trading disruptions.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and exchanges to support trading activities, fostering strong relationships and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Utilize scripting knowledge to automate tasks, leveraging expertise in Python, Bash, or Perl to optimize trading processes.

**Requirements**

  • Hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in the hedge fund space.
  • Prior experience working with low-latency, high-frequency systems is essential.
  • Proven track record working on Linux/Unix systems, with knowledge of shell scripting and automation.
  • Proficiency in Python for automation purposes and coding.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interface with clients, external partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Familiarity with Market Data/Order Entry systems and an interest in electronic trading.
