Cover Supervisor Position

We are seeking a Cover Supervisor to provide support to our schools in Braintree. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring that students remain on task with the work set by the regular teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
- Ensure that students remain on task with the work set by the regular teacher.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Provide support and assistance to students as needed.
- Liaise with teaching staff and school management to ensure effective cover arrangements.
Requirements:
- Experience working in an educational setting, preferably as a Cover Supervisor.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
