About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at OCS UK & Ireland. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing site teams to ensure the successful delivery of multi-discipline projects.

You will work closely with clients, operations teams, and support functions to ensure that each project is delivered in accordance with the project plan, safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction and project management, with experience of managing multi-discipline projects and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage site teams to ensure the successful delivery of multi-discipline projects
  • Work closely with clients, operations teams, and support functions to ensure project delivery
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard
  • Manage project finances, including understanding tenders, reviewing costs, and delivering value engineering solutions
  • Lead and motivate site teams to achieve project goals
  • Ensure all employees have the necessary training and qualifications to fulfill their roles
  • Manage absence and performance issues in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Establish and implement meeting structures for each project
  • Work closely with operations managers, quantity surveyors, design teams, and procurement teams to develop project plans
  • Drive a high standard of safety, health, sustainability, and quality within your sphere of control
About You
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Experience of managing multi-discipline projects
  • Strong background in construction and project management
  • PC literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Completion of 5-day Site Managers Safety course
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Experience of commercial management and reporting on WIP
  • Full driving license
  • HNC Construction / Project Management or PRINCE 2 Qualification
  • CDM Awareness
  • Experience of the Pre-Construction RIBA Stages
  • Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint, Dynamics, and Project
  • Effective managerial skills, including the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Client-focused, professional with the requisite skills to establish and maintain relationships
  • A self-motivated person who has the ability to work on their own initiative and achieve stretching targets
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a pressurized environment
