About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team at Waterloo Lodge School as a Cleaner. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our school premises.

Key Responsibilities

  • To undertake cleaning tasks to ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained throughout the school.
  • To ensure all works carried out are completed with due observation to appropriate Health & Safety requirements.
  • To clean, sweep and vacuum floors, as well as empty and clean bins and remove waste to designated areas.
  • To separate waste, including recycling, and replenish toilet rolls and soap.
  • To undertake a Deep Clean, which includes all of the above tasks, plus cleaning internal glass and internal and external door glass.

  • Work as part of a team and be flexible to changing demands of the post.

About Us

Waterloo Lodge School is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged from 11 to 18, catering for pupils with a wide range of needs. Our dedicated team works together to ensure successful outcomes for pupils who often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.
