As a Social Work Expert, you will be responsible for managing complex cases, including court-involved work, ensuring child safety and long-term well-being. You will build trusting relationships with children, ensuring their views inform plans to improve their safety and outcomes.
You will use Signs of Safety to assess risks, strengths, and needs, creating plans that involve family and professional networks. You will work in diverse and complex situations involving mental health, disability, domestic abuse, poverty, and exploitation.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience as a social worker and be able to apply theories like child development, attachment, trauma, and abuse cycles to understand children's experiences.
