About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated teacher to join our team as a Food Technology teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching food preparation, nutrition, and culinary skills, with a passion for inspiring students to develop a love for cooking and healthy living.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons that cater to different learning styles
• Teach essential culinary skills, food safety, and nutrition principles in line with the national curriculum
• Foster creativity and practical skills in the kitchen while encouraging students to understand the importance of healthy eating
• Manage and maintain the food technology kitchen, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment
• Collaborate with the wider Design and Technology (DT) department and participate in extracurricular activities such as cooking clubs and food-related events

Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications
• A degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, nutrition, and food safety regulations
• Experience in teaching Food Technology at secondary school level, preferably with GCSE experience
• A commitment to promoting healthy eating and food sustainability
