We are seeking an experienced Yard Manager to join our team at DS Recruiting Services Ltd. As a Yard Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our yard, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and that our team is working safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 5 yard operatives and a driver responsible for delivering plant and formwork
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition
  • Implement and maintain best practices and safety protocols in the yard
  • Coordinate the delivery and collection of equipment
  • Monitor and control inventory levels

Requirements:

  • Experience in a plant hire or formwork hire background
  • Knowledge of formwork and its condition when orders are being placed
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
