Salary


The estimated salary for this role is £120,000 - £180,000 per annum, depending on experience.


Job Description


As a Release Train Engineer (RTE) at BNY, you will serve as a key facilitator and coach for Agile Release Trains (ARTs). Your primary responsibilities include facilitating development events and processes, assisting teams in delivering value, and driving relentless improvement. You will communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, manage risks and dependencies, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.


In this role, you will make a significant impact by:



  • Facilitating Agile Release Train (ART) events and processes.
  • Assisting teams in delivering value and achieving objectives.
  • Communicating with stakeholders and escalating impediments.
  • Managing risks and dependencies, ensuring alignment between strategy and execution.
  • Driving continuous improvement and integration.
  • Celebrating milestones achieved through collaboration and open communication.

Required Skills and Qualifications


To succeed in this role, we are seeking individuals with:



  • A Bachelor's degree in business or technical-related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in providing consulting advice to senior IT and business management required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean-Agile principles, practices, frameworks, and methods.
  • Understanding of company organizational model, structure, and Agile journey history.
  • Effective facilitation and teaching methods.
  • Coaching and mentoring approaches, including the distinction between the two.
  • Ability to drive decisions and resolve conflicts across multiple parties.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience successfully running agile projects of varying size and complexity.
