Project Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Design Engineer to join our team in Kidderminster, UK. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's compliance with relevant legislation and managing projects from start to finish.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and control orders received from customers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Administer site project work areas, maintaining efficiency and control.
  • Act on verbal or written instructions from the Operations department, allocating labour and resources as needed.
  • Design and engineer contracts, preparing detailed specifications for manufacture and installation.
  • Conduct site visits to collect information and specifications, ensuring accurate project delivery.
  • Produce Method Statements and risk assessments for project-related activities.
  • Utilize CAD software to design and produce information for manufacturing purposes.
  • Assist in specifying the latest design technology to meet company design obligations.
  • Implement contract management policies to achieve and exceed gross margin profit targets.
Requirements:
  • Proven project and technical experience in industrial construction or similar site engineering.
  • Strong mechanical understanding and manufacturing industry knowledge.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients.
