Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Castle Bromwich, Birmingham. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing complex mechanical equipment, ensuring optimal production levels and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, and conveyor systems
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, cleaning, and inspection
  • Identifying and troubleshooting equipment faults, and implementing corrective actions
  • Collaborating with other engineers and production staff to ensure smooth production operations
  • Developing and implementing maintenance schedules and procedures to optimize equipment performance
Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 3 Engineering Qualification
  • Multi-skilled with a mechanical bias
  • Experience in a factory, industrial, or armed forces background (RAF, Navy, Army)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
