BAT is a dynamic organisation that is constantly evolving at pace. We are seeking a seasoned Senior Patent Counsel to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage global patent litigation and develop effective strategies to maximise our competitive advantage.
  • Provide counsel and advice to our business stakeholders on patent law and litigation matters.
  • Lead a team of external lawyers and patent attorneys to ensure the successful execution of our patent litigation strategy.

Requirements

  • UK qualified solicitor or equivalent qualification from another Common Law or EU jurisdiction.
  • Proven experience of managing strategic multi-jurisdictional patent litigation matters, ideally worldwide.
  • Commercially astute with an understanding of FMCG businesses and the ability to translate our strategic aims into effective solutions.
